Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Barbara Morgenstern is a seasoned artist in the electronica genre. Her very first release "Enter the Partyzone", issued on Compact Cassette, dates back to 1997. I'm a fan of her since 1998, after accidentally bumping into her album "Vermona ET 6-1". "Sweet Silence" is one of her more recent works, and one of her best, in my opinion. Barbara Morgenstern's approach to electronica is quite exciting. While she makes a lot of use of repetitive synth patterns typical for this genre, she does it in a more elaborate way than many others, carefully avoiding monotony, and keeping the listener mesmerized throughout the entire album. Favorite track: Need To Hang Around.
